Midwest Classic: Everything you need to know

The Boys Rock Stars 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012 teams will be competing in the 2023 Midwest Classic hosted by US Box Lacrosse Association member Resolute Lacrosse. The highly regarded American box tournament takes place over the Martin Luther King Day Weekend (January 14-16) at the Resolute Athletics Complex in Columbus, Ohio.

Resolute Lacrosse

Resolute Lacrosse was founded by former collegiate standouts and pro players Greg Bice & Anthony Kelly. A prestigious field lacrosse club, Resolute Lacrosse is also a USBOXLA charter member and regularly fields some of the top youth & high school box lacrosse players in the country. The club also founded the Ohio Collegiate Box Lacrosse League in USBOXLA’s National Collegiate Box Series. Current Panther City Lacrosse Club rookie Jack Hannah played multiple seasons in the league, including leading the Rivermen to the league’s first-ever National NCBS Championship.

Resolute Athletic Complex

The Resolute Athletic Complex (RAC) is central Ohio’s premier sports center for lacrosse, indoor soccer, athletic training and more. With multiple pads for box lacrosse, the facility regularly hosts the region’s top events.

Upcoming Events

The Boys & Girls Rock Stars will be taking part in the USBOXLA Winter Nationals in Phoenix, Arizona from February 4-5, 2023. The Boys Rock Stars recently hosted Border Wars at the Toronto Rock Athletic Centre.
