TRAC Athletics partners with Best Education Prep to support Rock Stars’ academic success

TRAC Athletics is proud to announce a new partnership with Best Education Prep, an academic-advancing alliance that will further support & strengthen the Rock Stars Elite Lacrosse Program’s commitment to players’ post-secondary education goals.

Best Education Prep, which was founded by Joe Corapi & Paul Burghardt, has decades of experience with tutoring and standardized test prep as well as an in-depth knowledge of higher education requirements – with a specialty in navigating the academic requirements for admittance into NCAA & NAIA schools.

“We at Best Education Prep are very excited about our partnership with TRAC Athletics and the Rock Stars program,” said Corapi. “We have formed partnerships with many sports organizations over the years, and are happy to join forces with the Rock Stars program, our first lacrosse organization.

“Our mission is to provide academic support for high performance student-athletes as they pursue their athletic dreams. This partnership supports our mission and will enable us to provide academic support to all Rock Stars athletes and families.”

Individual Rock Stars players have already started benefitting from this new partnership, which will be formally introduced to select Rock Stars teams over the coming weeks.

“We couldn’t be more excited to begin our partnership with Best Education Prep,” said Rock Stars Recruiting Director & Academic Advisor Bill Greer. “Paul and Joe have come highly recommended to the Rock Stars program, and I have already seen how their approach and expertise has helped our student-athletes.”

On December 15 (7pm ET), Best Education Prep will host an in-person information session at the Toronto Rock Athletic Centre for players currently competing for the 2006 & 2007 Rock Stars. With Rock Stars players hailing from all over the province of Ontario, the session will be recorded and made available to families who are unable to attend in person.

This year, Best Education Prep will provide 2006 Rock Stars players with an SAT test preparation course during the months of January & February of 2023.

“For the past few years, students have been exempted from standardized tests and exams,” said Greer. “Best Education Prep will ensure our student-athletes are prepared and feeling a sense of confidence when they take on the challenge of the new SAT test this spring.”

In addition to improving test-taking skills, Best Education Prep will help Rock Stars players prepare for their SATs by focussing on the test’s content, question types, timing, and even stress management.

Over the past two years, Rock Stars players have toured a number of NCAA schools while taking part in various US-based tournaments. Last summer, TRAC Athletics hosted the inaugural Canadian Box Showcase, a first-of-its-kind event that featured top players from all over the country competing in front of Canadian & American collegiate coaches. Several players that took part in the Canadian Box Showcase have since committed to NCAA programs or are presently in the process of communicating with schools interested in recruiting them.
