Girls Rock Stars 2026-27 Program Overview

The 2026-27 Girls Rock Stars season is approaching faster than previous years after some significant upgrades have been made to provide players with a more robust overall offering that will now see their season start in the summer and conclude in the spring.

The changes to the upcoming season will include additional entry into high-profile events & showcases, additional training dates, and an earlier tryout schedule.

Upcoming program upgrades

Now entering the programs fifth season, TRAC Athletics Director Colin Doyle has implemented these program-propelling changes after analyzing the progression of the Girls Rock Stars Program since its inception in 2021, as well as gaining important annual feedback from Rock Star families and players over that time.

The program will now more closely mirror the American model top clubs utilize, providing players in the Girls Rock Stars Program even more opportunities to further their collegiate careers through lacrosse. They will also:

  • Benefit from high-end, purposeful training from top-tier coaching
  • Receive full academic & recruiting support
  • Be placed in the right events while competing against top clubs
  • Be seen by more recruiting decision makers than any previous Girls Rock Stars season

Visit TRACAthletics.com/Programs/Rock-Stars/Girls to see the 2026-27 event schedule and training frequency for all seven Girls Rock Stars teams. Boys Rock Stars 2026-27 season and tryout details will be shared at a later date.

Open & Callback Tryouts

Tryouts will be held for the (DOB) 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014 teams. There are no tryouts for the 2009 and 2010 teams, but players interested in being considered for either team can email TRAC Athletics Director Colin Doyle (cdoyle@torontorock.com).

All team tryouts for all positions will focus solely on field lacrosse. There will be no box lacrosse. Tryouts are currently scheduled to take place indoors on the TRAC’s two turf floors, but may be moved outdoors depending on weather. Please wear your field lacrosse equipment, bring both runners (for indoor turf) and cleats (for outdoor turf), and dress to be prepared to tryout indoors and outdoors in colder weather.
