Visit Oakville & Toronto Rock Athletic Centre announce new community partnership

Visit Oakville and the Toronto Rock Athletic Centre (TRAC) are excited to announce a new community partnership in an effort to further elevate visitors’ experience at the TRAC as well as throughout Oakville.

Visit Oakville is an incorporated, not-for-profit, destination marketing organization. It is led by a volunteer Board of Directors representing the local tourism and business community. Visit Oakville aims to drive economic impact through marketing and partnerships, curating visitor experiences, and advocating on behalf of Oakville’s tourism industry.

The TRAC is best known as being the sport of lacrosse’s ultimate training facility, home of the National Lacrosse League’s Toronto Rock and TRAC Athletics. The 80,000 sq. ft., state-of-the-art building located in Oakville (Eighth Line/North Service Rd. E) provides more than just playing fields for Canada’s national sport, hosting a variety of other sporting and non-sporting events.

“Visit Oakville is excited to partner with the TRAC, as the facility continuously welcomes high-caliber Canadian and International talent. The TRAC is a premier sports destination that adds incredible value to Oakville residents and visitors, offering many opportunities to showcase the local community, businesses, attractions, and hotels. Together, we will work to enhance the visitor experience in Oakville by showing visiting teams and fans all that Oakville has to offer,” said Rebecca, Executive Director of Visit Oakville.

“We look forward to working with TRAC and other local partners to support Oakville’s tourism industry through the next stages of recovery and sharing the beauty of Oakville with visitors.”

Visit Oakville is a wonderful resource in the community, one that will add incredible benefits for our current TRAC Athletics membership and elevate our event hosting capabilities. We are proud to operate in Oakville and partner with an organization that strives to highlight this community.

“As the province reopens once again, we are excited to collaborate with Visit Oakville to enhance the experience at the TRAC and bring more events to this community.” – Rachel Wolff, Manager of Events & Community Engagement, Toronto Rock & TRAC
