TRAC Athletics launches new website in partnership with Creative Guild

TRAC Athletics (TRACAthletics.com) and the Toronto Rock Athletic Centre (TorontoRockAC.com) have launched a new website in partnership with Creative Guild, a marketing and advertising agency specializing in strategy, branding, design, media buying, and the development of tailor-made websites and digital experiences.

The new site provides TRAC Athletics members and TRAC visitors with an improved & streamlined user experience, highlighting the full lacrosse programming offered through TRAC Athletics, but also the various other amenities the world-class facility provides beyond Canada’s national sport.

“We listened to our staff, coaches, parents, and players and ensured their feedback was used during our site build from start to finish,” said TRAC General Manager, Nick Rose. “We’re confident that our new digital platform will allow our members to have a more positive and exciting experience when they visit our website, whether they’re registering for a new program, looking up stats from our various leagues, or enjoying the future athlete-focused content that will be filling the site very soon.”

Creative Guild, located a few short blocks away from the Toronto Rock’s new Hamilton home, the FirstOntario Centre, needed to ensure that the multitude of programs, services, and space the facility offers could be easily accessed by a visitor within just a couple of clicks, no matter what device they were using.

“The new TRAC website was a great opportunity for us to partner up,” said Creative Guild’s Director of Strategy & Growth, Filipe da Luz. “The goal was an easy-to-navigate, user-centric experience that highlights all the programming and features that TRAC Athletics and the Centre have to offer, while not overwhelming the casual first-time visitor.

“We also had to integrate a number of legacy applications into the new site, ensuring they look at home in the new design without impacting functionality.”

Upcoming TRAC Athletics programs, leagues, and events will feature an easier to use registration experience fully accessible through their laptop, phone, or any other digital device.

“We pride ourselves on providing our members with the best possible playing experience when they’re here at the TRAC,” said Rose. “We can now provide our program participants with that same elite-level experience digitally as well.”

Creative Guild concurs.

“Overall, we believe the new site will attract more people to the facility and its programs, while acting as a positive reflection of the world-class organization’s experience online,” added da Luz.

The site also connects all of the Toronto Rock’s brands, from the team itself to the Toronto Rock Lacrosse Shop, and of course anything and everything related to the TRAC.
