Red & White Rising Showcase to take over TRAC on Canada Day: Register Now
July 1 girls field lacrosse event already attracting top talent & collegiate coaches
TRAC Athletics is proud to present the Red & White Rising Showcase, an all-girls field lacrosse event that will take place at the Toronto Rock Athletic Centre in Oakville, Ontario on Monday, July 1, 2024 (Canada Day).
The loaded one-day, three-division event will include a 2026 Grad Year Division, 2027 Grad Year Division and a 2028/2029 Grad Year Division. Players will take part in a training session with collegiate coaches and also compete in two event games.
Team USA & Athletes Unlimited Pro Lacrosse player, former Stony Brook University standout, and recent SBU Hall of Fame inductee Kylie Ohlmiller will serve as the Red & White Rising’s Event Director. Over the past two years, Ohlmiller has also helped train the Rock Stars Girls program during special-guest coaching sessions.
“I’m pumped to be a part of this event,” said Ohlmiller. “Having spent time at the TRAC with these girls, it truly is evident how much talent lives in this area. And that talent deserves to be seen firsthand – so I am thrilled to be part of putting together this special event that brings some of the top NCAA women’s coaches directly to them.”
Like the TRAC’s hugely popular Canadian Box Showcase, this boutique-style event will ensure top college coaches have a significant amount of time to scout and focus on individual players, as well as discover untapped and potentially unknown talent, instead of searching for games and players at oversaturated, spread-out events. The Red & White Rising approach will also ensure players spend significant time being coached directly by the NCAA coaches taking part in the event during the showcase’s training component.
Participating collegiate coaches will be announced in the coming days and weeks. Last year’s CBS included high-profile coaches from the following NCAA DI schools: Albany, Canisius, Cleveland State, Cornell, Denver, Marist, Maryland, Ohio State, Robert Morris, as well as other Canadian and American coaches from various other levels and divisions.
The Red & White Rising Showcase is open to any and all registrants and only limited by number and/or age. Space is limited. The event is expected to sell out quickly. Players are encouraged to register early to ensure they secure a spot. If you have any questions, please email TRAC Athletics Director Colin Doyle (cdoyle@torontorock.com).
