Red & White Rising Showcase: Everything You Need to Know

This Canada Day – Monday, July 1, 2024 – the inaugural Red & White Rising Showcase is happening at the Toronto Rock Athletic Centre in Oakville, Ontario.

The one-day girls field lacrosse event will feature some of the best players from the province, plus an array of high-profile NCAA coaches who will be leading the showcase’s morning clinic, but also scouting talent during competitive game play in the afternoon.

Whether you’re playing, coaching or cheering from the stands, here’s everything you’ll need to know for the 2024 edition of the Red & White Rising Showcase.

Schedule and Player Lists

Click or tap here to see this year’s full-day schedule and player lists for all three divisions: 2026 (07/08), 2027/2028 (09/10) and 2028/2029 (10/11). Players will be provided their jersey number, team and coach when they arrive for check-ins on Monday morning at the TRAC. Players are asked to wear black shorts.

Check-ins

Players can begin checking in starting at 7:30am at the TRAC. Please arrive early enough so you’re able to check in, change and be prepared for the NCAA coach-led clinic starting at 8:30am.

Event Director

Team USA & Athletes Unlimited Pro Lacrosse player, former Stony Brook University standout, and recent SBU Hall of Fame inductee Kylie Ohlmiller will serve as the Red & White Rising’s Event Director. Over the past two years, Ohlmiller has also helped train the Rock Stars Girls program during special-guest coaching sessions.

NCAA coaches attending this year’s Red & White Rising Showcase include:

Clinic

The 90-minute clinic will be led by the attending coaches and will begin promptly at 8:30am. Again, please arrive in plenty of time to check in and be prepared to go at 8:30am. The clinic will take place on the TRAC’s outdoor turf field.

Dressing Room Assignments

At the TRAC, dressing room assignments for divisions will be posted on the monitors just outside of the doors of both the blue & red indoor pads. The assignments will be:

2026 Division: Rooms 1 & 2
2027/2028 Division: Rooms 3 & 4
2028/2029 Divisions: Rooms 5 & 6

Trainers for Injured Players

Staff from the Toronto Rock Sports Medicine & Wellness Centre will be on site at the TRAC for every game.

If you should sustain an injury during a game, a trainer will be alerted and address the injury on the field. Trainers will also be present at the field should you seek help between sessions and/or games.

Game Play

All games will take place after the Lunch Break (see full schedule here). Games will consist of four 12-minute quarters. All games will take place at the TRAC’s outdoor turf field.

Game Footage

Games will be filmed and posted to the TRAC Athletics YouTube channel approx. a week following the event.

Game MVP and Showcase Awards

A Player of the Game will be selected after all games, and will be provided a gift courtesy of Warrior & Brine. In the days following the Red & White Rising Showcase, event award winners will be announced on TRACAthletics.com.

Toronto Rock Lacrosse Shop
