USBOXLA Canadian Box Showcase Player Application

Top-rated USBOXLA members invited to take part in the biggest box-specific showcase ever

If you’ve received a link to this page it means you’ve been asked by USBOXLA to apply for consideration to compete in the Canadian Box Showcase Presented by TRAC Athletics. The highly anticipated event takes place at the world-class, 80,000 sq. ft. Toronto Rock Athletic Centre in Oakville, Ontario from July 6-7. The fully turfed, two-pad, lacrosse-first facility is the home of the National Lacrosse League‘s Toronto Rock.

The event will give selected Americans a unique opportunity to impress Canadian Junior A and B coaches for future playing opportunities in the biggest and best box leagues for their ages. US-born players like Casey Powell, Joe Resetarits, Mac O’Keefe, Charlie Kitchen and others sharpened their skills for school playing junior lacrosse in Ontario, eventually playing box professionally as well.

While announcements will be coming soon, NCAA DI, DII DIII and other programs are being confirmed now.

Players interested should apply ASAP. There is no cost to apply. Players selected for the showcase will receive an invitation from a TRAC Athletics staff member. Final registration for the event will be $250 CAD (+HST).

Players selected for the Canadian Box Showcase will receive:

– An opportunity to showcase their skills in front of NCAA, CUFLA, Junior, US/Canadian Prep School and NLL coaches & staff

– Four full-length games

– A bio page, plus full team & individual player stats accessible online

– Custom-event jersey & shorts provided by the Toronto Rock Lacrosse Shop

– Recognition on TRAC Athletics’ industry-leading social media platforms (@TRACAthletics) and additional accolades for top players on TRACAthletics.com through event MVP & All-Showcase Team selections
