Border Wars
TRAC Athletics has partnered with the US Box Lacrosse Association (USBOXLA) to present Border Wars – an elite youth box lacrosse tournament featuring the Rock Stars Elite Lacrosse Program, plus top American & Haudenosaunee box lacrosse teams at the U13, U15, U17 and High School Elite level for both boys & girls.
The fourth annual Border Wars will take place from December 20-22, 2024, and for the first time in the tournament’s history, will be hosted at venues in both Canada and the United States: Toronto Rock Athletic Centre in Oakville, Ontario and Utica University Nexus Center in Utica, New York.
See the 2024 tournament announcement here.
Border Wars premiered during December of 2021 and featured multiple entries from the province of Ontario, while also hosting all-star squads made up of players from California & Colorado, plus Roots from Rochester, New York. The second edition featured Canadian, American and Haudenosaunee teams from all over North America. In 2023, the event will expanded again, including all new girls divisions. This year, more teams will ever compete at Border Wars making if more difficult than ever to win gold at every division.
The tournament’s Boys ‘AA’ Invitational and the Girls High School Elite Division (2025/2026) will be playing at the TRAC in Oakville, while the Boys ‘A’ Division and Girls U17 & U15 Divisions will have their games hosted at the Nexus Center in Utica.
