2022 Border Wars All-Tournaments Team & MVP selections
The 2022 Border Wars tournament had nearly double the number of teams & players participating in comparison to last year’s inaugural edition of the event. Canadian, American and Haudenosaunee teams from all over North America attended this year’s Border Wars.
While medal winners were awarded at the conclusion of the TRAC-hosted tournament (December 16-18, 2022), the event’s highly anticipated All-Tournament Teams & Most Valuable Player selections were debated in the days after Border Wars was put to bed.
TRAC Athletics staff identified some of the top players across all four stacked divisions during the three-day event. Once those players were carefully confirmed, staff voted for each division’s All-Tournament Teams & MVPs. Due to the size of both the U15 & U17 division, those age groups include a first, second and third tournament team, while the U13 & High School Elite division have two total. A team’s final placement (gold, silver, bronze, fourth and round-robin finishes) also helped dictate how many All-Tournament Team selections participating clubs were awarded.
A total of 400 players participated in 2022’s Border Wars. Below are the ones selected as some of this year’s absolute best.
