Rock Stars nearly perfect at Future Champions Tournament

The Rock Stars attended the first event of their current spring season – the Future Champions Tournament in Connecticut (May 29-30), games played alongside the NCAA Final Four at Rentschler Field in Hartford.

The 2006 and 2007 Rock Stars competed in the high-profile tournament after spending Saturday watching Maryland, Princeton, Rutgers and Cornell in the Final Four. Both Rock Stars rosters turned heads all Memorial Day weekend after American clubs witnessed the TRAC Athletics-powered program for the very first time.

Both teams went undefeated in convincing fashion during group play on Sunday, the 2006 Rock Stars walking away as champions of the HS Open Division. The 2007 Rock Stars lost their Monday-morning match by just a single goal (8-7) against one of the top teams in the nation, Team 91.

What’s Next

In coming weeks, all active Rock Stars teams will be competing in the Prime Time Shootout Elite Lacrosse Tournament (June 18-19, Wellesley MA) and the Canadian Box Showcase (July 6-7, Oakville ON).

The Rock Stars are holding 2022/23 team tryouts this July. Click here or below to attend tryouts, which are open to both returning and new players for all boys, girls and development teams. This will be the only evaluation session held for next year’s Rock Stars teams. A full 2022/23 schedule will be provided during tryouts in July.
