Rock Stars Exclusive: 2026-27 GRIT Scholarship

The Toronto Rock Sports Medicine & Wellness Centre believes that success in sport is built on more than talent alone. Through our annual GRIT Scholarship Program exclusive to players on the Rock Stars, we are proud to recognize and support young athletes who demonstrate exceptional perseverance, resilience, and determination in the pursuit of their goals.

The GRIT Scholarship will be awarded to one male and one female Rock Stars recipient who embody the attributes and values associated with having “grit”. In psychology, grit is defined as a positive trait characterized by perseverance of effort and passion towards achieving long-term goals. While GRIT is an acronym for Growth, Resilience, Instinct, and Tenacity, it also reflects the ability to show courage and determination when faces with setbacks and challenges.

We are seeking individuals who demonstrate these qualities both on and off the field to become our 2026-2027 GRIT Athletes of the Year.
