2025 Jr. NLL Tournament: Jr. Rock Win U13 & U17 Gold

The 2025 Jr. NLL Tournament took place at the Toronto Rock Athletic Centre from August 22-24 with most of the National Lacrosse League’s 14 teams fielding U13, U15 and U17 teams.

The Jr. Rock, whose rosters are assembled exclusively from TRAC Athletics’ Rock Stars Elite Lacrosse Program, won gold in the U13 & U17 divisions while also taking silver at U17.

In the U13 final, the Jr. Rock topped Ottawa’s Jr. Black Bears 14-9, the team finishing the tournament with a perfect 6-0 record. Grayson Chapman (Burlington, ON) was named the division’s MVP as the Tucker Williams Award recipient.

The Jr. Rock beat the Jr. Bandits 10-6 in the U17 championship game. Avery Shirtliff (Huntsville, ON) led the final with 2 goals and 3 assists, plus finished first for the tournament’s scoring title (18 goals, 10 assists). The Jr. Rock forward was also selected at the U17 MVP.
