Girls Rock Stars will host a World-Class Weekend at the TRAC

The Girls Rock Stars, who recently competed at their first field lacrosse tournament of the season in Canandaigua, New York, will now be hosting their first-ever event at the Toronto Rock Athletic Centre from October 8-9, 2022.

A World-Class Weekend is coming to the TRAC over the Canadian Thanksgiving holiday when the Rock Stars host top American teams in a series of sixes games, plus learn from two of today’s top women’s lacrosse players, Lizzie Colson (Maryland/Team USA) & Taryn Ohlmiller (Stony Brook), in both a clinic & classroom setting. Last fall, Kylie Ohlmiller hosted a similar session with the Rock Stars.

The 2026, 2025 and Middle School Rock Stars squads will take part in the two-day event, with nearly 60 players total from the program involved. Click or tap here to see the all of the players selected for the 2022/23 Rock Stars season.

The TRAC’s World-Class Weekend will include:

Saturday, October 8

• Rock Stars 2026 & 2025 vs. American All Stars in a series of sixes games
• Rock Stars Middle School clinic with Lizzie Colson & Taryn Ohlmiller

Sunday, October 9

• Rock Stars Sixes Showdown (elimination-style tournament)
• On-field clinic + classroom Q&A with Lizzie Colson & Taryn Ohlmiller

During the same weekend, the Boys 2006 & 2007 Rock Stars are taking part in a special event in Denver, Colorado hosted by LXTC’s Denver Elite.
